Descent Riddles

On some floors the stairs down are sealed until you answer a riddle; the game asks one of that floor's riddles at random, and a wrong answer costs health. Spoiler warning: the solutions are listed below.

Pyramid, Floor 3

• Riddle: The way down is sealed. Name the only creature that carries the Fyr Rune.
  Hint: A small, burning creature that stings in swarms.
  Answer: Firebee (a wrong answer costs 400 health)
• Riddle: Only the bearer of the right seal could enter this pyramid. Which seal was it?
  Hint: You won it in the old burial ground just to reach this place.
  Answer: Ancestor Signet (a wrong answer costs 400 health)
• Riddle: At the sarcophagus of the old burial ground, a lord arose whom you had to defeat. What is he called?
  Hint: A bloodthirsty undead, once buried in chains.
  Answer: Vampire Lord (a wrong answer costs 400 health)

Pyramid, Floor 7

• Riddle: In the upper halls a jackal-headed warden barred your way and stunned you. What is his name?
  Hint: The tomb's only demon, jackal-headed.
  Answer: Anubis Warden (a wrong answer costs 500 health)
• Riddle: Name the only creature that carries the Krom Rune.
  Hint: A ghostly terror from the early caves.
  Answer: Spook (a wrong answer costs 400 health)
• Riddle: Which bandaged dead already shamble through the uppermost halls of this tomb?
  Hint: Wrapped in old bandages, slow but tough.
  Answer: Mummy (a wrong answer costs 400 health)

Pyramid, Floor 9

• Riddle: Just above this level, a mighty warden fell to your hand. What was his name?
  Hint: His name is written on the tomb he guarded.
  Answer: Khaba the Warden (a wrong answer costs 400 health)
• Riddle: Name the only creature that carries the Med Rune.
  Hint: It devours the magic of those who come too close.
  Answer: Magic Eater (a wrong answer costs 400 health)
• Riddle: Which winged plague of this tomb makes the wounds of its victims bleed?
  Hint: A beetle that whirs across the sand floors.
